On Friday March 6th we are having the first of our two Staff Conferences (Student Free Days) for the year. The topic is ‘How do we make Maitland Area School the best school on Yorke Peninsula?’ Parents and students are invited to join the staff between 8.30 am and 10.30 am at school to contribute your opinions about how we can all work together to achieve this. You are then invited to have morning tea with us, so please stay for this. After morning tea, the staff will work on planning other programs essential to our students.
 
Building the Education Revolution

The Federal Government’s economic stimulus package is providing $14.7billion  to fund Australian schools to upgrade their facilities over a three year period.

It is aimed at preserving jobs for Australians, especially in the Building and Construction Industry. Every school will get a share, including Maitland Area School.
